Bark on the Beach Waiver

Thank you for being a part of our 12th Annual Bark on the Beach!

Please read and sign the required event waiver below.

Waiver for Animal Rescue Rhode Island’s 12th Annual Bark on the Beach:

By completing registration, I am requesting to be allowed to participate in the Bark on the Beach event on September 23, 2023. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age. If I am accompanied by a child under the age of 18, my registration gives my child permission to participate in this Bark on the Beach event. My child(ren) will be with, and supervised by, a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event.

I realize that there are elements of risk inherent in this event, including, but not limited to physical or emotional injury to myself, my child (if applicable), or to third parties. Common sense and personal awareness may reduce these risks. However, I also realize that the risks inherent in the activity cannot be eliminated completely without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the event. I also agree to follow the instructions of event supervisors. If I am accompanied by a child under the age of 18, I have discussed these risks with my child and instructed him or her to follow the instructions of the event supervisors.

If any emergency medical procedures or treatment are required during the activity, I consent to the event supervisors taking, arranging for, and consenting to the procedures or treatment in the supervisor’s discretion. I understand that I will be responsible for the costs of any such medical procedures or treatment.

I release and waive, and further agree to indemnify, hold harmless, or reimburse the Animal Rescue Rhode Island, its agents, servants, employees, and representatives, as well as any volunteers or event supervisors, from and against any claim which I, any other parent or guardian, any sibling, my child, or any other person, firm or corporation may have or claim to have, known or unknown, directly or indirectly, for any losses, damages or injuries arising out of, during, or in connection with my or my child’s participation in the event and related activities or the rendering of emergency medical procedures or treatment, if any.
