Fundraising Tips For Bark On The Beach

Thank you for participating in our 12th Annual Bark on the Beach!

Here are tips to maximize your fundraising:

Get the ball rolling. Nobody likes to be first. If you make the first donation, others are more likely to get involved.

Tell your story to potential supporters. Let others know why you believe in ARRI. A compelling message will convey to others why this cause matters to you!

Start with your close contacts. Try sending quick personal messages to your inner circle to build momentum.

Use social media. Facebook and Twitter are great for tagging and thanking people who’ve donated to you while you’re asking for new donations. This spreads your message further and tells potential supports that others are already supporting you. Tag ARRI too! We love engaging with our supporters!

Re-engage with email. Send follow-up emails. Keep people updated with your progress as you hit different milestones (50% of goal raised, 75% of goal raised, etc.), then ask supporters to help you reach your next milestone.

Continue thanking donors and updating on social media. As more of your network gets behind you, keep thanking them on social media and continue to share your progress towards your goal!
