Meet Steven. This sweet puppy was found abandoned and severely malnourished, his ribs protruding. Paralyzed by fear, he would only blink. The only time he showed emotion, he was snuggled in a blanket and held close. Terrified, it took weeks before he ventured outside. Steven urgently needed our help!
Thanks to generous gifts from supporters like you, the ARRI team was able to provide patient, dedicated care and training to help Steven overcome his fears and receive the medical attention he needed to become the healthy, strong puppy he was meant to be.
Steven made a complete turnaround! This beautiful little guy was finally ready to begin his journey to a loving home. He found his perfect adopters, who offered him the stability and constant companionship he needed. Now, surrounded by love and endless hugs, Steven is growing stronger every day in his new home.
Meet Edgar, a twelve-year-old fluffy black cat who had been living in a car with his owner after they suddenly became homeless. An affectionate purring machine, Edgar desperately needed a stable home, and his owner had nowhere else to turn. Edgar found a safe haven at ARRI, where he received much-needed veterinary care.
We’re honored that we had the opportunity to help Edgar and his owner when they needed it most.
Volunteer dog walker and animal lover Victoria Fazio met her new best friend, Portia, through volunteering with ARRI.
Victoria started volunteering with ARRI this year. After the loss of her soul dog, she wasn’t ready to welcome a new pet into her life but still wanted to give back to the animals.
While volunteering at an event, Victoria quickly connected with Portia when she snuggled up in her lap.
Ever since, they have been inseparable best friends!
