Every day the staff falls in love with the pets at our shelter, and we're grateful for the opportunity to care for them. It’s so rewarding to see a shy cat blossom or a dog who came from challenging circumstances learn to trust again. Time and time again, our team witnesses remarkable transformations. We believe all pets deserve a family of their own, and we are committed to going to any length for all of them. Watching them respond to consistent, loving care and seeing hope in their eyes are gifts made possible only through your support.

The Heartwarming Tale of Pippin the Kitten |
Would you believe that a spirited little kitten could bring traffic to a standstill on I-195 in Providence? Not long ago, a good Samaritan stopped on I-195 upon discovering a frightened kitten we called Pippin. State Troopers sprang into action, carefully halting traffic to ensure Pippin’s safe rescue and prevent any chance of him running into harm’s way.
Miraculously, Pippin was unharmed after his highway adventure and was promptly taken to the Providence Animal Control Center. Shortly thereafter, he was transferred to our care.
Pippin’s adventurous spirit is limitless. This courageous feline is akin to an Olympian, captivating everyone with his acrobatic skills. But make no mistake - Pippin is also a bundle of affection, ready to share his love. After a brief stay with us and a visit to our veterinary partner, Pippin has found his loving home! We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such heartwarming tales and to witness their happy conclusions.

Thank you so much for trusting us to love and care for Charlie! He had a very successful meet and greet with Andy, and they have been getting along fine so far! Charlie has a lot of energy but had a really good first night! He ate well and slept with us(despite several spots of beds and blankets on the floor). I took him out during the night, and he and Andy got a walk around the block together. Thanks again. I think he’s going to love it here!

| Hello!
Things are great with Ollie. He has such a personality and is very curious about every little thing. He runs around the house like a crazy little man, climbs curtains, jumps on counters, etc. He is keeping us busy and on our toes. He and Lucy are doing very well together. They play a lot and chase each other all over. They even bathe one another at times.
