Dear Friends,
While red hearts are everywhere and love is all around us, I can’t help but think of the pets in our care patiently waiting for people to open their hearts and take them home.
Did you know there’s a sheltering crisis across the country? Adoptions have slowed, and there are 250,000 more pets in shelters nationwide today than there were just one year ago. It’s a staggering number. Still, every day I look at the wonderful cats and dogs at ARRI and hope this will be the day they’ll find the loving families they deserve. Will you help us make our dreams for them come true? Here are easy ways to help and be a part of the magic that comes with giving our pets the futures they deserve: support our cause through donations; follow ARRI on social media and share our posts; and tell friends, family, and coworkers about us. Urgent Foster Needed For Winston's Recovery |
ARRI has an URGENT plea for assistance finding a loving medical foster for our cuddle-loving friend, Winston. Winston is scheduled for orthopedic surgery in early March to address a ruptured ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament). We're seeking someone who can make an 8-week commitment post-surgery to provide the care and support Winston needs during his recovery. However, if you're able to open your heart and home earlier, that would be immensely beneficial.
Winston is a gentle giant, both dog- and cat-friendly, but during his recovery period, he'll need a quiet space – either a crate or a separate room in your home. As he heals, Winston will require minimal activity and maximum rest, with assistance to help him move for breaks. We promise it will be a rewarding experience for any animal lover.

River, who arrived here in June 2023, and Chipotle and Bella, both of whom arrived in October 2023. We know there's a perfect home waiting for each of these dogs.

We adopted "Arizona" from your shelter about 5-6 years ago. We renamed her Maisy. She is the love of our lives! She is an indoor-only kitty who is so spoiled, and we wouldn't have it any other way. She loves catnip, toys, sleeping in fluffy blankets, and playing with our other cat. She will even listen to a book about rescues being read by her human brother, Christopher. ❤️
