In four weeks, we're coming together for #GivingTuesday, a Global Day of Giving.

It's your chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets in need just like Edgar. Here are some ways you can join us in this worldwide movement of generosity. Your support transforms lives!

1).  Participate In Giving Tuesday!

Support ARRI on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, and help us reach our goal of $10K!

For every donation of $120 or more, you'll be recognized as a sponsor of a cat cage or dog kennel for one year - including your choice of inscription!

Each sponsorship will be honored and highlighted on a commemorative Giving Tuesday poster displayed at the shelter. 

2). Whisker Wonderland is our end-of-year giving campaign! 

It's our wish to raise funds to sustain our organization into 2025. Through your support, a pet will receive a stocking filled with love this season.

3). Hold a pet food drive

Ask your friends and family to assist you in collecting pet food for ARRI! See our wish list here.

Join our #Unselfie initiative this Giving Tuesday! #Unselfie is all about spreading awareness on why YOU give. Tune in to our social media every Tuesday leading up to Giving Tuesday to see responses from our community about why they give.

There are several ways to donate and support the pets at ARRI. Contributions such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, IRAs, cash, or other financial assets are fantastic ways to aid the shelter.  

Donate Stock: Did you know you can also give from your investments - stock or retirement accounts? Gifts of stock, IRA distributions, and Donor Advised Funds can reduce your tax liability while increasing your philanthropic impact.

Create a lasting legacy of love: One more way that many of our supporters are choosing to have an impact is by adding ARRI to their will. It costs nothing during your lifetime and is a powerful commitment to our work and mission for generations to come.

Help save homeless pets and the planet this November! 

During November, ARRI will partner with Stop & Shop for their Community Bag Program. When you purchase a reusable Community Bag at the Narragansett Stop & Shop, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to ARRI. By choosing these reusable bags, shoppers not only support their community but also help reduce the use of single-use plastic bags, making a positive impact on the environment.

Purr-fect Paws Pantry

This Giving Tuesday, Pet Supplies Plus is hosting a special Pet Food Drive to support ARRI's furry friends. Make a difference by donating pet food and supplies at the Narragansett location. By participating in this drive, you’re not only spreading holiday cheer but also providing essential nourishment and comfort to animals in need. Let’s come together as a community to make this Giving Tuesday a purr-fect success for our four-legged companions! 

A Boat Load of Fun! 

Marine Max is hosting an exciting pet food drive with a unique twist  - aiming to fill a boat with donations! This initiative is designed to ensure that every pet in our care has access to nutritious food.

The community is encouraged to contribute generously, helping to meet the ambitious goal of filling the boat to the brim. By participating, you’ll be directly supporting the well-being of countless animals, giving them the nourishment they need while they await their forever homes. Sierra

Meet adoptable Sierra, a stunning beauty who has been thriving in her foster home! Here’s what her foster has to say about this amazing girl:

Sierra has done so well and is completely house-trained. She even puts herself to bed around 8/8:30 on her dog bed and sleeps through the night until 6 a.m. She’s worked hard on her leash walking and takes four walks a day with her foster sister, Juno. Sierra loves playing fetch and is a pro at bringing it back and dropping it in front of you. She listens well and knows ‘stay,’ ‘sit,’ and ‘lay down,’ and is working on giving her paw. She’s always willing to work for a small treat! At feeding time, she gets excited but knows to sit calmly while you give her the bowl. Despite her size, Sierra loves to cuddle and will even sit in your lap and snuggle. Her kisses are endless, and she has so much love to give.”
